Sometimes you think, “I’ll draw a back. It’s easier than the front”. Eh, not so much. Especially when you throw in a lot of hair, and are working without reference. At nine o’clock at night I just wanted to paint, not spend hours looking for reference. Should I choose to refine it, I’ll look for the reference. So far I’ve spent about an hour and a half on Red.
I started working in Clip Studio, but while I like the app, it’s brushes aren’t as varied or controllable as Corel Painter, so I jumped over to that for final painting and some color tweaking.
I later removed the gloves, but… I dunno… I think I prefer it with the gloves. I also prefer the color tweak I did in Painter.
Just draw. Just paint. Just create. Doesn’t matter if it’s a masterpiece or not, just keep moving forward and creating.
