This morning, as I set out to do my daily drawing for my YouTube Shorts channel, the TV news (Morning Joe on MSNBC) I had on in the background mentioned Nancy Pelosi. So I figured I’d draw Nancy Pelosi. She wasn’t particularly difficult to draw, but I had come across some new Photoshop brushes and I thought I’d use those in the video sketch. But… if Photoshop can record video and export it, I’ve yet to find out how. I kinda knew this going in, but the brushes were nice, and the drawing was working so I kept drawing. But, there was no recording of the drawing. Rats. So I figured I’d redraw it in Clip Studio, which has the video record and export feature. I knew that the brushes wouldn’t be the same (I do need to explore making Clip Studio brushes more), and the feel wouldn’t be the same, etc., etc., but I kept going. The drawing and video turned out well. I wish it had the new Photoshop brushes I had downloaded, but hey, whatcha gonna do. Life as an arteeste.
If anyone out there knows how to record and export creating an image in Photoshop, please let me know!
Here are the drawings and the Shorts video.
