Today I just felt like scribbling gesturally with not much concern for accuracy. And then my Apple Pencil started to die out. Whoops. Fine, I’ll use my finger, and that worked out pretty well. Scribbly. More scribbles to come.
When I started this Substack newsletter, the idea was to post drawings, and I’ve done that. But I had the idea that there should be nothing but drawings; of that I’m not so sure. There should be some text.
There was also the idea of a drawing a day regardless of time or quality. Just draw something and post it. Then I thought, “would people want a daily email newsletter? ” But it seems like some other artists on Substack are doing just that. Some just post/email the drawing (maybe with with a few notes), others post drawings with more text.
Do you think I should go daily with the drawings? Is that too much? With longer essays once or twice a week?
Thanks for your time and support
